Supporting Veterans Through the Brothers Keeper Veteran Foundation
At AnswerFirst, supporting our communities isn’t just part of our mission, it’s part of who we are. Our commitment to helping people goes far beyond the phones, extending to meaningful partnerships and support for organizations that make a real difference in people’s lives.
We are proud to support the Brothers Keeper Veteran Foundation (BKVF), an organization dedicated to preserving the lives of veterans and active-duty service members by raising awareness, destigmatizing mental health issues, and providing barrier-free access to personalized, life-saving treatments and resources.
“Veterans sacrifice so much in service to our country. It’s our responsibility as a community to ensure they’re supported when they come home,” says Matt Herron, CEO & President of AnswerFirst. “We’re proud to contribute to the Brothers Keeper Veteran Foundation in their mission to eliminate barriers to mental health care for our nation’s heroes.”
About the Brothers Keeper Veteran Foundation
Founded in 2020 by Chris Cathers, whose experiences in the Special Forces and CIA, along with personal challenges like PTS and cancer, inspired him to create the organization. Brothers Keeper Veteran Foundation (BKVF) is dedicated to addressing Post-Traumatic Stress Injury (PTSI) and breaking down the stigma around mental health for veterans and active-duty military personnel.
BKVF provides a strong network of support and personalized care, ensuring service members receive the guidance and understanding they need. Their mission is simple yet powerful: raise awareness of and destigmatize military-based mental health issues by connecting those in need to personalized treatments for as long as necessary, with no barriers to entry.
Through initiatives like their Connection is Prevention™ program and impactful projects such as the short film Failure to Fire, BKVF works tirelessly to ensure no veteran has to walk alone. By prioritizing community, compassion, and accessibility, they give veterans the support they deserve.
How AnswerFirst is Helping
To support the Brothers Keeper Veteran Foundation in their ongoing efforts, we’ve made a $7,500 donation.
This funding helps expand access to mental health resources, personalized care, and outreach programs, ensuring service members facing PTSI or other mental health challenges do not have to navigate these struggles alone.
Through this contribution, we are proud to amplify BKVF’s impact and play a role in helping veterans access the resources and encouragement that can make a life-changing difference.
Moving Forward Together
The fight for veteran mental health is ongoing, and organizations like BKVF are leading the charge to make real, lasting change. At AnswerFirst, we are proud to support their mission and help amplify their impact.
We encourage others to join us in supporting the Brothers Keeper Veteran Foundation. Whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading awareness, every action counts in preserving the lives of those who’ve sacrificed so much for our freedom.
